Ander Herrera Aguera professionally known as Ander Herrera is a Spanish professional football player who plays for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain as a midfielder. He started playing football for the youth team of Zaragoza and began his career at the club. He made his professional debut in the Segunda Division in the 2008-09 season. On 1 July 2011, he joined Athletic Bilbao on a five-year contract for a reported fee of €7.5 million. Buyout clauses were set at €36 million in his first three seasons and €40 million in the remainder. He made his official debut for the club on 18 August 2011. On 1 July 2014, he joined Manchester United on a four-year contract for a reported fee of €36 million. He made his debut for the club in the opening game of the Premier League season on 16 August 2014. With Manchester United, he won one FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield, and UEFA Europa League. On 4 July 2019, he signed a five-year contract with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer. He made his league debut for the club on 14 September 2019.

On the international level, he has represented Spain at various age levels. He has represented Spain at U20, U21, and the senior level.
