Andras Schafer is a Hungarian professional football player who plays for Slovak Fortuna Liga club FC DAC 1904 Dunajska Streda and the Hungary national team as a left midfielder. He started playing football for the youth team of Grundball PFC. In 2010, he joined the youth team of Haladas Szombathely where he played until 2014. Later on, in 2014, he played for the youth team of MTK Budapest and began his career at the club. He made his Hungarian League debut for MTK on 1 April 2017. On 25 January 2019, he was transferred to Genoa for €1 million where he played for the U19 team. On 21 August 2019, he was loaned out to Chievo Verona where he didn’t make any appearances for the club. On 17 January 2020, he joined Dunajska Streda on loan until the end of the 2019-20 season, with an option to purchase. On 9 September 2020, he permanently joined Dunajska Streda for an undisclosed fee.
