Rape allegations

She alleged actor Danny Masterson that he raped her in 2001. She was dating Masterson at the time. The couple went out for drinks and she blacked out. She woke up the next morning with bruising on her head. She asked Masterson what had happened. Masterson laughed and told that they had sex while she was unconscious. Bixler was in a relationship with Masterson when he raped her. They had dated each other for six years.

She reported about the rape to the Church of Scientology. But, she alleged that the Church of Scientology did not take any actions. Instead, they started harassing her. She claimed that the Church of Scientology pressured them not to contact the police or go public with their accusations. Despite the pressure from the Church, she went public about the case. Once, she went public with the accusations, other women came forward against Masterson. Bixler, along with other accusers were the member of the Church of Scientology. 

Other accusers also claimed that Masterson assaulted them when they were unconscious.

Following the rape accusations from several women, Masterson was fired from the Netflix series The Ranch. Masterson denied all the accusations and stated that the sexual encounters were consensual.

Four women filed a lawsuit against Masterson and the Church of Scientology claiming that the church intervened in the case. Masterson has been denying the rape accusations. He stated, 

"I'm not going to fight my ex-girlfriend in the media like she’s been baiting me to do for more than two years. I will beat her in court—and look forward to it because the public will finally be able to learn the truth and see how I’ve been railroaded by this woman. And once her lawsuit is thrown out, I intend to sue her and the others who jumped on the bandwagon for the damage they caused me and my family."

Bixler responded, "not going to respond to the statement made by my rapist like he’s been baiting me to do since he outed me to the press 2yrs ago. Nor will I tell you how terrifying it is that he only singles me out w/that obsessive rage I know so well. Instead, I’ll post this from LA Times."
