Conor William Hazard is a Northern Irish professional football player who plays for Scottish Premiership club Celtic and Northern Ireland as a goalkeeper. He started playing football for the youth team of Cliftonville. Later on, in 2014, he played for the youth team of Celtic and began his career at the club. At the beginning of the 2017-18 season, he was promoted to the Celtic first-team squad as third-choice goalkeeper. He has previously spent time out on loan at Falkirk, Partick Thistle, and two spells at Dundee.

On the international level, he has represented Northern Ireland at various age levels. He has represented Northern Ireland at U16, U17, U19, U21, and the senior level. He made his international debut for Northern Ireland on 3 June 2018.

Conor Hazard Club Career

  • He started playing football for the youth team of Cliftonville. 
  • Later on, in 2014, he played for the youth team of Celtic and began his career at the club. At the beginning of the 2017-18 season, he was promoted to the Celtic first-team squad as third-choice goalkeeper. 
  • On 8 September 2017, he signed a new four-year contract with the Scottish champions. On 20 December 2017, he made his senior team debut for Celtic in a 2-0 win against Partick Thistle.
  • On 25 January 2018, he moved on loan to Scottish Championship club Falkirk. He made his debut for the club on 6 February 2018 in a 3-1 victory against Brechin City. During his loan spell at Falkirk, he made 12 appearances for the club in all the competitions.
  • On 3 January 2019, he moved on loan to another Scottish Championship club, Partick Thistle. He made his debut for the club on 5 January 2019 in a 1-1 draw to Dundee United. During his loan spell at Partick Thistle, he made 15 appearances for the club in all the competitions as he helped his side reach the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup, taking Hearts to a replay where he saved a penalty kick but conceded a late goal to lose 2-1 and exit the tournament.

  • On 24 October 2019, he joined Dundee on an emergency loan, replacing regular starter Jack Hamilton who was out after having his appendix removed. He made his debut for the club on 25 October 2019 in a 2-1 win against Ayr United. During his loan spell at Dundee, he made 5 appearances for the club in all the competitions.
  • After his impressive performances during his short stint with Dundee, on 27 January 2020, he was again brought back on loan to Dundee where he made 6 appearances for the club, grabbing 5 consecutive clean sheets in all the competitions.
