Daniel James Harmon, popularly known as Dan Harmon is an American writer, producer, actor, and comedian. He is known for his work in NBC sitcom, Community, animated series, Rick and Morty. He hosted the weekly podcast, Harmontown from 2012 to 2019. He is also the co-founder of the alternative television network and website Channel 101. As an author he published the book, You'll Be Perfect When You're Dead.

  • He frequently appeared at Milwaukee's Safehouse free comedy stage. 
  • He co-created the television pilot, Heat Vision, and Jack. 
  • He also co-created several Channel 101 shows, featuring Drew Carey and Sarah Silverman. 
  • He co-created Comedy Central's The Sarah Silverman Program. He served as head writer for several episodes of the show.
