Daryl Dike is an American professional football player who plays for EFL Championship club West Bromwich Albion and the United States national team as a striker. He started playing football for the youth team of Oklahoma FC in 2013 and played until 2015. During the 2018 season, he played for OKC Energy U23 in the PDL between high school and college soccer, making four appearances and scoring three goals. Ahead of the 2018 NCAA Division I men’s soccer season, he signed a national letter of intent to play college soccer for the Virginia Cavaliers. He made his college soccer debut on 18 September 2018. On 9 January 2020, he was selected in the first round (5th overall) of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft by Orlando City having already signed a Generation Adidas contract. He made his professional debut for the club on 25 July 2020. On 1 February 2021, he joined EFL Championship club Barnsley on loan until the end of the 2020-21 season where he made 22 appearances for the club, scoring 9 goals in all the competitions.  On 1 January 2022, he signed for EFL Championship club West Bromwich Albion on a four-and-a-half-year contract for a $9.5 million deal.
