  • He started playing football for the youth team of Hamilton Academical. 
  • He then joined the youth team of Celtic and began his career at the club. He became a regular in the team and played the full 90 minutes in a 2-0 victory over Rangers in the 2010 Scottish Youth Cup final. He never made a first-team appearance.
  • On 1 October 2010, he went on loan to Stranraer for the 2010-11 season. He made his debut for the club on 23 October 2010 in a 9-0 win against St Cuthbert in the Scottish Cup.
