In a career spanning over 40 years, Zimmer has composed music for more than 150 films. Having scored music for acclaimed films like "Gladiator," "The Lion King," "Inception," "Interstellar," "Dark Knight Trilogy," and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series, he is one of the most revered music composers in the American film industry. He also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in December 2010, which he dedicated to his just-deceased publicist and friend Ronni Chasen. Additionally, Hans is the head of the film music division at DreamWorks studios and works with other composers through the company that he founded, Remote Control Productions.
