Hindley is the first Australian to win the Italian Grand Tour by snatching the pink jersey on the penultimate stage before rolling into the final daytime trial in Verona to seal a memorable win. Having started his early career in 2013, Hindley turned pro in 2015 and joined his first cycling team "Attaque Team Gusto" in 2016.
