Jonathan Christian David is a professional football player who plays for Ligue 1 club Lille and the Canada national team as a forward. He started playing football for the youth team of Gloucester Dragons SA in 2010. In 2011, he joined the youth team of Ottawa Gloucester SC, where he played for the club's Hornets team until 2015. In 2016, he then played for the youth team of Ottawa Internationals SC and played until 2018. In 2018, he joined the youth team of Gent and began his career at the club. He made his professional debut on 4 August 2018. Two years later, on 11 August 2020, he joined French side Lille, where he aided in winning one Ligue 1 title and one Trophee des Champions.
