Jonathan Javier Rodriguez Portillo professionally known as Jonathan Rodriguez is an Uruguayan professional football player who plays for Liga MX club Cruz Azul and the Uruguay national team as a forward. He started playing football for the youth team of Atletico Florida and began his career with local club Penarol in Uruguayan Primera Division. On 29 January 2015, he joined Portuguese champions S.L.
