  • Lucas Ocapos joined the hometown club, Quilmes academy in 2000. He was only 6 years old when he joined the club. 
  • He initially started playing as a striker. 
  • Ocampos caught the attention of River Plate, eventually signing with the club after his impressive performance at the U15 Sudamericano. He signed a 50% co-ownership deal with Quilmes.
