Marcos Aoas Correa professionally known as Marquinhos is a Brazilian professional football player who plays for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, whom he captains, and the Brazil national team as a defender. He started playing football for the youth team of Corinthians in 2002 and began his career at the club. In the summer of 2012, he was scouted and signed by Italian Serie A giants AS Roma. He was a regular in his only season as Roma reached the Coppa Italia Final. On 19 July 2013, he signed a five-year deal with Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of €31.4 million which was one of the highest fees for a player under the age of 20. He has spent his entire professional career at Paris Saint-Germain, making over 200 appearances and scoring over 15 goals for the club. With PSG, he has won 24 trophies: six Ligue 1, Coupe de France, Coupe de la Ligue, and Trophee des Champions.

On the international level, he has represented Brazil at various age levels. He has represented Brazil at U17, U21, U23, and the senior level. He was part of their Brazil U17 side which won the 2011 South America U17 Football Championship. He was also part of their Brazil U21 side which won the 2014 Toulon Tournament.   • He started playing football for the youth team of Corinthians in 2002 and began his career at the club. On 18 February 2012, he made his professional debut for Corinthians in a 1-0 win over Sao Caetano.
