Moussa Marega is a French-born Malian professional football player who plays for Primeira Liga club Porto and the Mali national team as a forward. He began his career at Evry FC in 2011 and played until 2012. In 2012, he moved to Vendee Poire-sur-Vie Football of the Championnat National and played until 2013. He then moved to Amiens in 2013 and played there until 2014. He spent the second half of 2014 in Esperance Sportive de Tunis where could not make a single appearance due to bureaucratic problems. In January 2015, he subsequently moved to C.S. Maritimo in Portugal’s Primeira Liga. He played 29 matches, scoring 12 goals in all the competitions. In January 2016, he signed for Porto for €3.8 million with the buyout clause of €40 million. On 20 July 2016, he was loaned to Vitoria de Guimaraes for the upcoming season. A month later, he made his debut for Vitoria de Guimaraes. In the 2017-18 season, he returned to Porto after the end of this loan spell. On 17 February 2021, he scored the second for Porto in a 2-1 win against Juventus in the round-of-16 first leg in the UEFA Champions League and became the first Iranian to score in the knockout phase of the competition.

On the international level, he made his international debut for Mali in 2015. He was part of their squad at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2017 and 2019.
