Rafael Alcantara do Nascimento professionally known as Rafinha is a Brazilian professional football player who plays for Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain as a midfielder. He started playing football for the youth team of Barcelona in 2006 and made his debut with the first team in 2011. He then joined Celta Vigo on a season-long loan deal after renewing his contract at the Camp Nou and made his debut in the Spanish top flight on 19 August 2013. After a loan at Celta, he played his first La Liga match for the former club Barcelona on 24 August 2014. On 22 January 2018, he joined Inter Milan on a loan with an option to buy for €35 million and made his debut for the club on 28 January 2018. On 2 September 2019, immediately after extending his contract until 2021, he rejoined Celta on a season-long loan. On 5 October 2020, he signed a three-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer and made his Ligue 1 debut on 17 October 2020.

  • At the age of 13, he started playing football for the youth team of Barcelona in 2006.
  • On 8 January 2011 he made his professional debut with the B team in a 1-2 home loss against Girona for the Segunda Division, coming on as a substitute for Jonathan dos Santosh in the 55th minute.
  • A week later, he scored his first goal in a 3-2 win against Salamanca and add an assist, again off the bench and for the same competition.
