Sebastien Romain Teddy Haller is a French-Ivorian professional football player who plays for Eredivisie club Ajax and the Ivory Coast national team as a forward. He started playing football for the youth team of FCO Vigneux in 2003. In 2005, he joined the youth team of Bretigny Foot and played until 2007. Later on, in 2007, he joined Auxerre and began his career at the club. On 26 June 2011, he signed his first professional contract with Auxerre, agreeing to a three-year deal. He made his professional debut with the club on 27 July 2012. He then moved on loan to Dutch Eredivisie side Utrecht in 2015, before signing on a permanent basis. After two years in the Netherlands, he moved to German club Eintracht Frankfurt, winning the DFB-Pokal in 2018. On 17 July 2019, he signed with West Ham United on a five-year deal for a club-record transfer worth €49.8 million (£45 million). He made his Premier debut for the club on 10 August 2019. Following a disappointing spell in England, he returned to the Netherlands in 2021 signing with Ajax, for a club-record fee of €22.5 million (£18.8 million). He made his debut for the club on 10 January 2021. In his first six months, he won the Eredivisie and KNVB Cup with the club. 

On the international level, he holds both French and Ivorian nationality. He has represented France at U16, U17, U18, U19, U20, and U21, and also represented Ivory Coast at the senior level. He played with the France U17 team at the 2011 FIFA U17 World Cup. In November 2020, he was called up to the Ivory Coast national team.
