Steven Zuber is a Swiss football player who plays for German club Eintracht Frankfurt and the Switzerland national team as a midfielder. He started playing football for the youth team of FC Wulflingen/Wiesendangen in 1997. He then played for the youth team of FC Kollbrunn-Rikon, FC Turbenthal, and Winterthur. Later on, he played for the youth team of Grasshopper and began his career at the club. He made his first-team debut for Grasshopper on 12 July 2008 in the Intertoto Cup second round, second leg match. On 5 July 2013, he signed a five-year contract with Russian Premier League champions CSKA Moscow. He made his debut for the club on 13 July 2013 in the Russian Super Cup. On 14 August 2014, he moved to Hoffenheim on a four-year deal. He made his debut for the club on 17 August 2014 in the first round of DFB-Pokal. On 9 January 2019, he was loaned out to VfB Stuttgart until the end of the 2018-19 season where he made 15 appearances for the club, scoring 5 goals and providing 1 assist in all the competitions. On 4 August 2020, he joined Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt with Mijat Gacinovic going the other way as part of a swap deal. He signed a 3-year contract with the club.
