Thomas Ulsrud was a Norwegian curler who was active in the curling from 1983 to 2020. He was best known for being the skip of the 2014 World champion Norwegian national team, a two-time European champion, and an Olympic silver medalist. Ulsrud is also the current holder of the record for most wins by a skip at the World Men’s Curling Championship. After Team Ulsrud disbanded, Thomas formed a new team in the year 2019 with Steffen Walstad, Markus Høiberg, and Magnus Vagberg. The team represented Norway at the 2019 European Curling Championships which became Ulsrud's final European Championship appearance. At the end of 2020, he was diagnosed with cancer and he lost his life on 24th May 2022 at the age of 50.
