Weston James Earl McKennie professionally known as McKennie is an American professional football player who plays for Serie A club Juventus, on a loan from Bundesliga club Schalke 04, and the United States national team as a midfielder. He started playing soccer for the local club FC Phonix Otterbach in 2004. From 2009-2016, he played for the youth system of Major League Soccer side FC Dallas for seven years. In August 2016, he joined the youth team of Bundesliga club Schalke 04. In May 2017, he was promoted to the first-team squad and made his professional debut on 20 May 2017. On August 29, 2020, he joined Serie A club Juventus on a year-long loan and became Juventus' first player and Serie A's fifth from the United States.

On the international level, he has played with various the United States youth teams, including the U17 and U20 national teams. On 14 November 2017, he earned his first senior team call-up for the United States' friendly against Portugal, scoring on his debut. His first international assist came in the opening game of the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup against Guyana. On October 12, 2019, McKennie scored the fastest hat-trick in the U.S. men's national team's history, scoring three goals in thirteen minutes in a CONCACAF Nations League game against Cuba.
