Kodak Black in the Jail: Missed his concerts?

The 21-year-old rapper missed concerts at the House of Blues in Boston on Wednesday night after he was stopped at the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge near Buffalo hours before his show was to begin, authorities said.

It was reported that members of the rapper’s team were unaware at showtime why he had not yet arrived. Additionally, they were reportedly not immediately aware of Kodak's situation ahead of his scheduled House of Blues set.

Kodak Black's trip to Boston from Detroit didn't go as planned, and according to TMZ, his decision to drive through Canada wasn't really much of a decision at all. The report states that he was following GPS, and didn't quite realize where he was going.

He allegedly figured out he was in the wrong place, near the border of Canada-USA, when he was asked to show his passport.

Did it Hamper Black's Career?

It was back in July when G-Eazy was denied entry into the country after his cocaine arrest during a trip to Sweden. Chris Brown faced the same fate in 2015 because of his criminal past.

Kapri was in his middle journey of "Dying to Live Tour" concert, when he got arrested, which was the next scheduled to hit Mashantucket, Connecticut Thursday night.

It has been reported that he was in custody of police and being held on a $20,000 cash bond or $40,000 bond. Kodak posted bail on Thursday, as reported by CNN. A video recently came out that showed him walking aside a parking lot, apparently shielding his face with a fan of cash after his bail from jail.

Kodak Black has always been in the headlines of controversies since the start of his career; with his six mixtapes, a full album, and multiple singles hits, he is getting a steady flow of income from his singing and rapping career.

Kapri was raised in Pompano Beach, Florida. His breakout hit "Tunnel Vision" became his first top 10 hits on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Yet despite his video stepping on massive stacks of cash, it is estimated that his total net worth is about $600,000.

With his growing fame and name worldwide, Kodak's run-ins with the law have also been a topic of discussion, as he has encountered a large number of crimes and scandals, since his career.

Kodack Black In the Crimes Before?

Kodak has been arrested multiple times and was indicted by a grand jury in South Carolina in 2016, accused of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. His trial, which was expected to take place this month, was continued.

In January 2017, Kodak(Kapri) had broadcasted an Instagram Live video of himself in a Washington, D.C hotel room with several other men, while alone females performed oral sex on them.

Kapri's Instagram account hit a record high during the broadcast. The rapper, in June, wrote about his preference for light-skinned women over dark skinned women in Twitter, that turned out to be racist and he got threatened and provoked by the Twitter user to delete his social accounts.

Recently, in April 2019, Kodak received controversy when he offered to "wait" for the girlfriend of late rapper Nipsey Hussle, and Kodak's recent headlines have been centered on a back-and-forth with T.I. that was initiated following his insensitive Lauren London comments.

While being bothered by Paparazzi earlier this month, T.I. said he hopes Kodak will seek knowledge he believes will change his life. The Rapper as per his profession has always remained cool and more concerned about what is going on, however, he has been encountered by a large number of arrests and detention.

Kodak Black was placed in a youth detention center three times in one year, and then to probation. In October 2015, he was arrested in Pompano Beach and charged with robbery, battery, false imprisonment of a child and possession of cannabis, however, he was later released.

In April 2016, Kapri was arrested in Hallandale Beach, Florida and charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, and fleeing from officers.

The following month, he was arrested in Broward County, Florida and charged with armed robbery and false imprisonment. He was detained in custody. In August 2016, he appeared in court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Several executives from Atlantic Records attended the court; vice-president Michael Kushner commented:

"Black has a bright future as a recording artist".

Kapri pleaded no contest to all charges and under a plea agreement was to be placed on house arrest for one year, have five years probation, perform community service as required, and take anger management classes. He would also be permitted to tour internationally.

Prior to his release from Broward Main Jail, police discovered two outstanding criminal warrants, the first from Florence, South Carolina alleging felony criminal sexual conduct, the second from St. Lucie County, Florida alleging two counts of misdemeanor marijuana possession.

In September 2016, Kapri was charged for two misdemeanor drug charges and was sentenced to four months in jail, also he was suspended from driving for one year.

With no doubts again in 2017, Kodak got arrested for violation of his probation, in addition to it, he was indicted by a grand jury in South California on a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

In 2018, he faced multiple charges, while Kodak has been said to be facing criminal sexual conduct charges and will be facing up to a maximum of 30 years in prison.

Keeping all the past events of Kodak Black inconsideration, it can be said that Kodak has been the man who not even has done great in his career but also has set the mark of having a large number of controversies, arrests, and criminal events.

Thus, Black now is staring down the possibility of missing more shows on his tour "Driving To Live", that can hamper his career to some extent.
