Kanako Urai, better known by the ring name, Asuka is one of the popular Japanese wrestlers. She is signed to WWE, where she performs in the Raw Women's Championship. She has previously wrestled in several promotions including JWP Joshi Puroresu, NEO Japan Ladies Pro-Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Wave, Reina Joshi Puroresu, Smash Wrestling New Classic. Initially having retired in 2006, she returned to wrestling in 2007. She is JWP Openweight Champion, NEO Tag Team Champion, Reina World Women's Champion, Smash Diva Champion, and Wave Tag Team Champion. She is a former NXT Women's Champion, the title she held the longest in that title's history.
A Two-time Female Competitor of the Year and one-time Overall Competitor of the Year, Asuka was promoted to the WWE's main roster in 2017. She holds the longest undefeated streak in WWE history at 914 days. She is also the inaugural women's Royal Rumble champion, SmackDown Women's Champion, Women's Tag Team Champion, and the 2020 Women's Money in the Bank ladder match-winner. She is the third Women's Triple Crown Champion and the second Women's Grand Slam Champion.

The rumor was there that the popular wrestling Asuka has an identical twin sister and it was reported that the wrestling character Asuka is being portrayed by two people.
