Garth Brooks is the youngest son of Troyal Raymond Brooks, Jr.(father) and Colleen McElroy Carroll(mother).   • Garth Brooks kicked off his professional music career in 1985, singing and playing guitar in Wild Willie's Saloon, Stillwater and other Oklahoma clubs and bars.
