Hugo Wallace Weaving, popularly known as Hugo Weaving is a British-Australian actor. He rose to prominence after he played the role of Martin in the Australian drama, Proof in 1991. He is best known for his role as Agent Smith in The Matrix trilogy, Elrond in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies, V in Vendetta, and Red Skull in the movie, Captain America: The First Avenger.
