Spanish legendary goalkeeper, Iker Casillas has been stabilized at the hospital. Earlier on 1 May 2019, during Porto's morning training session, Casillas suffered a minor heart attack. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. He was stabilized at the hospital. 

The 37-years old World Cup-winning goalkeeper took to his social media to thank everyone who supported for his recovery. He wrote, "Verified

Club Career

Iker Casillas joined the Real Madrid's youth system in 1990.  

He was first called up to the senior team squad in November 1997 in the UEFA Champions League. He was only 16 then. He remained on the bench throughout. 

He made his UEFA Champions League in September 1999. In doing so, he became the youngest goalkeeper ever to debut in the competition at the time, at 18 years and 177 days. His record was later broken by Mile Svilar in October 2017. 

Casillas made his La Liga debut in a 2-2 draw against Athletic Bilbao in September 1999.

He became the youngest ever goalkeeper to play in Champions League final in May 2000. He also became the youngest ever goalkeeper to win a Champion League Final. He was 19 years and 4 days old then.
