Washington Bullets

Washington Bullets selected him with the fifth overall pick in the first round of 1994 NBA draft. He played six-and-a-half season from 1994 to 2001 for the Bullets. Washington Bullets was renamed to Washington Wizards in 1997. 

He later played a year each for Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic. 

He then played three full seasons for the Houston Rockets from 2004 to 2008. 

He then returned to Dallas Mavericks in 2007 and moved to Denver Nuggets in 2008.

He played at Charlotte Bobcats and Portland Trail Blazers before joining Miami Heat in 2010. 

He won his first NBA championship with the Heat in 2012. He became the first and only member of the Fab Five to win an NBA championship. He won his second NBA championship in the following year with the Heat. 

Coaching Career

He was announced the assistant coach of the Miami Heat in September 2013. 

He remained with the Heat as their assistant coach until 2019. 

The University of Michigan announced him as their head coach in May 2019. He signed a five-year contract with the University.
