Marie Yovanovitch is an American diplomat who previously served as a Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, U.S. Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan and U.S. Ambassador to Armenia. Marie is also a member of the senior ranks of the United States Foreign Service. Yovanovitch was fired by President Trump from her post as an ambassador to Ukraine. Later, she testified in a public hearing before the House of Representatives on Friday, November 15, 2019, as a part of the impeachment investigation against President Donald Trump.
