Michael Manning Weatherly Jr. is an American actor, producer, and director, mostly known for playing the role of Anthony DiNozzo on CBS television series, NCIS. The 50-year-old actor Weatherly appeared in the series for 13 seasons (2003-2016).  Weatherly earlier had played Logan Cale in the Fox drama sci-fi series "Dark Angel" (2000-2002). Further on October 2016, he began the title role of Dr. Jason Bull in Bull, a CBS courtroom drama.

Weatherly became a center discussion when "The New York Times" revealed that CBS made a $9.5 million settlement with Eliza Dushku after she confronted Weatherly about the inappropriate behavior on the set of "Bull".

Weatherly was interested in acting since his early age and he also had a passion for music since his childhood. Michael attended Fairfield Country Day School and later shifted to Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts. After graduation, he attended Boston University, Menlo College, and American University for higher studies but he dropped out of college to pursue his acting career.

Michael Weatherly has remained active in the entertainment industry since 1988. After dropping out from college, he began acting professionally and began his acting career in 1988, with a small role on the TV show "The Cosby Show" (1988). Michael Weatherly made his acting debut in a 1991 episode of The Cosby Show titled “Theo’s Final Final.” He played the role of Theo’s roommate. 

That same year, he appeared in an episode of the daytime drama "Guiding Light". In 1992, Weatherly secured a recurring role as on the daytime drama "Loving". He played the character Cooper Alden for 15 episodes. Weatherly made his film debut in the 1997 movie Meet Wally Sparks, in which he played the role of Dean Sparks.

The following year, he appeared in his second movie, "The Last Days of Disco".

Weatherly received attention after appearing in the television series "Dark Angel". He played the character Logan Cale from 2000 to 2002, opposite former fiancée Jessica Alba. Weatherly was nominated for a Saturn Award for "Best Supporting Actor" in a Television Series in 2001 and 2002 for his appearance on "Dark Angel". Later in 1992, he was cast in TV series The City, in which he appeared from 1992 to 1996. After that, he moved to Los Angeles and got a regular role on the FOX television series Significant Others. In 2000, he was cast for Dark Angel (2000-2002), in which he played as Logan Cale. His performance on the 42 episodes of the film made him one of the most popular TV actors of America. Since then, he has appeared in more than thirty movies and TV films. Michael Weatherly initially got married to actress Amelia Heinle on February 1995. The couple appeared together in two shows "The City" and "Loving". The couple had a son named "August Manning Weatherly".

However, the couple ended their marriage and got divorced in 1997. 

Weatherly then began a relationship with Jessica Alba during the show "Dark Angel", and in 2001, the former partner got engaged. Unfortunately, Weatherly's affair with Alba lasted only for 2 years as they ended in 2003.

The 50-year-old actor again tied the knot with his second spouse internist Dr.Bojana Jankovic on 30 September 2009. The couple lives in Los Angeles and they share two children together, a daughter Olivia Weatherly and son Liam Weatherly.

Weatherly also shares a relation of an uncle with an American actress Alexandra Breckenridge. Alexandra's mother is Michael's half-sister (they share the same mother).

The National Enquirer reports that during an audition for the film New Jack City, a casting director told Weatherly he wasn’t a good actor. However, he was told his good looks made up for his lack of acting skills. “You’re not very good, but you have nice 

cheekbones and good hair!” Weatherly recalled the casting director telling him.
