Oprah Winfrey was born as Orpah Gail Winfrey in Kosciusko, Mississippi, USA. She is American in nationality and Afro-American in Ethnicity. Her birth sign is Aquarius. She faith in Christianity.
She was born to father Vernon Winfrey and mother Vernita Lee. Her mother is a housemaid and her father is a coal miner turned barber turned city councilman who had been in the Armed Forces when she was born.
