Ryan John Seacrest, popularly known as Ryan Seacrest is a popular American radio personality, television host, and producer. He is best known for hosting the American Idol show, the syndicated countdown program American Top 40, and the KIIS-FM morning radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest. He is also the co-host and executive producer of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

In 2010, he won an Emmy Award for producing Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. He was nominated for Emmy for American Idol from 2004 to 2013, for Live with Kelly and Ryan in Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment as well as Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host.

Ryan Seacrest won an internship at WSTR (FM), in Atlanta when he was just 16-years old. Tom Sullivan trained him in the many aspects of radio and he worked a weekend overnight shift there.

He worked at WSTR until his high school graduation.

He moved to Hollywood at the age of 19 to pursue his broadcasting career.
