Surfing Legend Sunny Garcia is in a critical condition at Portland hospital. He was found unconscious at his home in Oregon. The 49-years old surfer was rushed to the hospital. He remains in the hospital under intensive care. 

The surfer legend had his best year in 2000 when he won ASP WCT World championship in 2000. She holds the record for most WQS event wins with 22 wins. He also holds six Triple Crown of Surfing titles.

Sunny Garcia was born on 14 January 1970. His birth name is Vincent Sennen Garcia. His birth place is in Ma'ili on the Westside of Oahu, Hawaii in the United States. He holds American nationality. Career

He debuted on the 1986 Gotcha Pro at Sandy Beach, Oahu. He defeated the 1984 champ, Tom Carroll. 

He became ASP WCT World Champion in 2000, 14 years after his debut. He won first two events in Australia and clinched the title in Brazil. 

He holds the record for most WQS event wins with 22 wins. 

He holds 6 Triple Crown of Surfing titles. 

He is also the second professional surfer to win over $1 million in prize money.

He was ranked 1st on the ASP World Tour in 2000.

He retired in 2005 but later returned to surfing. 

He failed to qualify for ASP World Tour failing to win O'Neill World Cup of Surfing in 2008. 

He had surgery on his knee in 2009. 

He was placed 67th in the new ASP World Rankings as of June 2010.

He was suspended from the 4-star Burton Toyota Pro in Newcastle, New South Wales for involving in a fight with Jeremy Flores, and a local surfer.
