Where is Julius Naranjo From?

Julius Naranjo was born on 14 June 1991. His full name is Julius Irvin Hikaru T. Naranjo. He was born in Tamuning, Guam in the United States. He holds dual nationalities, Amerian, and Filipino. However, he was forced to retire from his weightlifting career after he sustained a serious back injury. 
• While pursuing a competitive career, he was also managing a functional fitness facility and physical therapy clinic for various clinics including Guam national athletes. After retirement, he turned to coaching. He is currently the weightlifting coach, strength & conditioning coach as well as team manager for Team HD, the Olympic Core team for Hidilyn Diaz.
• Aside from coaching jobs, he is also a filmmaker. He previously worked as a production artist. With the telecommunications company, Docomo Pacific, he worked as a Director of Photography for a number of productions. He collaborated with Malaysian/Filipino singer Yazmin Aziz as a filmmaker for her news segment on TFC News Asia and aided with a number of projects for her music. 
• He co-founded the Collective Culture and promotes the sport of weightlifting on social media. He and Hidilyn have collaborated through Collective Culture to help spread awareness advocacy of weightlifting by creating documentaries such as Move to Inspire and Lifters for Lifters.
