Vanessa Lucido was born in 1990. Her father name is Lou Lucido. She was born in the United States. She holds American nationality. She has two brothers. Her parents purchased a ranch when she was 4 years old. She grew up with horses and drill rigs. 

She attended the University of Utah, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Humanities and business. She later obtained her MBA from the University of Utah in 2016.

She learned every aspect of the drilling industry at her father's drilling contracting company, Becho Inc. 

She, along with her two brothers worked at the company.

She worked as a safety director at Becho Inc. between 2008 and 2011.

Her father died in an industry-related tragic accident in 2012.

She is also a member of DFI's Women in Deep Foundations Committee.

She is active on the ADSC/NCCCO Drill Rig Task Force.

She has also founded a children's toy company.

Her work is featured on the 6th season of the History Channel's reality television series, Curse of Oak Island.

In the series, she is helping treasure hunter brothers Rick and Marty Lagina excavate borehole H8.
